Happy Birthday Zoe!

Zoe had a really good birthday! We went to Lagoon on Friday, she choose to take her Dad, Kim and Keyton. I can not believe how brave she was on the rides. She sat in the front on the log ride, didn't even freak out. She put her hands in the air and wanted to keep going! Sunday was a good day. We spent the morning all together and then in the afternoon had the Williams side over for dinner. She was spoiled, of course, getting Hannah Montana clothes and princess dolls and dress ups. She loved her cake and I wonder why!

Where have we been?

So, lots has happened in the last month. So much that I am not sure where to start. I started back to work on Aug 4th. I am working at Wasatch Pediatrics as a Medical Coder. It is a really good position and I am lucky to have found it. Especially since I am not certified to do coding!
Zoe offically started preschool on Sept. 2nd. She has come home everyday telling me what she has learned...they are already learning what sounds D makes. Not bad!
I have come into contact with lost friends and made many new ones. That has been such a blessing.
Well, I think that is about all...pictures are coming!

Weekend Update with Liz

Here is Zoe at the Bountiful Parade
Zoe and Makyah being funny while we were getting fireworks ready!
Keyton being the older one and telling the younger ones what to do!!
It was a pretty nice weekend. We went to the parade on the 23rd then we just BBQ'd and fireworks on the 24th. Friday was just a pretty mellow day. Oh, I sold my motorcycle...kind of sad. Then we went up the canyon on Saturday night with some friends to camp but we got rained out...um, I wonder why! Yesterday was a very good relaxing day. I am getting very nervous to start my new job. Oh well, I do need the money as things are going very slowly.
Tell me how your weekends were!

I'm back baby!

It has almost been two months since I last posted anything! Wow, WAY too long. So, David is magic and got my Mom to put up her new computer, that is why I am blogging again.
I don't think there has been much going on. This picture is of me and Zoe on the 4th of July at the fireworks in Sandy. That was a really fun day!
News...let's see. I got a job! I am pretty excited about it. I am going to be doing medical coding, which is really cool because I am not certified to do it. Hee hee! Oh well, the woman who hired me said she didn't care, she prefers experience. Giddy up!!
Zoe is going to be starting at Montessori Preschool on August 1st. She is really excited! That makes it easier for me to go back to work.
Hope everyone is well! Love you all!!

Awesome Day!

Yesterday was my Birthday, I have to say that it ROCKED! I don't know if you guys know this but last year Troy completely forgot my birthday and I was really bummed out. Chris and Dad took me to lunch and brought me a cake, which made up for the crappy day it had been - and would continue to be.
So, it has been a few years of bad birthdays, anniversarys, and Mother's Days. It was really nice to have a good day! It might sound funny, but as we were all sitting there I realized I will be ok. I am really lucky to have such a good family. I just can't say enough about how much it meant to me to have everyone hang out last night. So, thank you for coming to the game and hangin' out!

Monday, Monday...

So, yesterday was a really good day! I had a nice time with Zoe and all the mom's in my life. I have a thought though! I wonder if Mother's Day should be about celebrating women. I think people are Mothers without even having kids. I know a few people who do not have kids but they are GREAT with them and they have that natural mothering ability. I think it is a great thing to honor all women, kids or no kids.
I would like to say to all the potential mom's out there (Erin)...your day is coming, faster than you realize. You have a very kind soul and it's ok to love someone too much. You will, believe me. When you become a Mother you will see what all the hype is about. You will experience new emotions, new aspects of live, almost as though it was you who was born, or reborn! I know you will love it and be good at it. Remember you will struggle but you have many great Mothers around you who have gone through it, who are willing to help and guide, who would do it a million times over. Well, maybe. So Happy Mother's Day to you too!
I love all the women in my life. I am truly blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful, strong, gracious, fantastic, beautiful women. I am empowered when we are all together! It is nice to have such a collective of women to draw strenght from.
So, I think we should rejoice and celebrate all women. Not just the ones who have kids! Here is to you...YOU ROCK!
